Growing brown stew fungus and oyster mushrooms on straw (bales, straw pellets or chopped straw)
Mushroom culture on straw bales
You need straw bales of approx. 10 kg dry weight or straw pellets. You can order straw pellets from us when you buy the grain spawn
You can grow mushrooms on straw pellets in a flower pot or greenhouse throughout the whole year. The straw in the bales must be healthy and dry, ideally you should use organic straw bales.
